An extensive menu that includes the typical local cuisine (the "papas arrugadas" (wrinkled potatoes), pork leg, sea and land products, Canarian cheeses...), and the revision of these dishes from a contemporary perspective.

In addition, the city stands out for its wide range of restaurants and bars with different gastronomic ranges, and delicacies suitable for all palates. This is especially appreciated if you are travelling with your family.

BEACHES

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria stands out for the uniqueness of its beaches:

Las Canteras, one of the most important urban beaches in Spain, winner of several national and international quality awards, including the Q for Tourist Quality. It stretches from La Puntilla to the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, a three-kilometre stretch in which there are several areas, each with its own peculiarities.

El Confital beach is located in the peninsula of La Isleta, a Protected Natural Landscape, and is the natural extension of Las Canteras beach. It is admired for the cleanliness of its waters, the beauty of its rocks and cliffs and the tranquillity it offers bathers.

Next to the city's marina, bordered by a promenade and flanked by two of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria's yacht clubs, is the beach of Las Alcaravaneras. The tranquillity of its waters, sheltered by the Port of La Luz and Las Palmas, allows for the practice of different sea sports.
