In the capital of the island you will find a wide variety of leisure, culture, gastronomy and, of course, beaches.
The neighbourhood of Vegueta must be visited if you come to the city. You cannot miss the hermitage San Antonio Abad, Plaza Santa Ana, the Obispado, Casa Refental and Santa Ana cathedral. In addition, this neighbourhood hosts several museums that allow travelling through the history of the island.
The neighbourhood of Triana is another ensemble of huge cultural and architectonic value, where you can find the Edificio Quelgles, built in the 1900, the Casa-Museo de Perez Galdós or the Plaza Hurtado the Mendoza, among others.
